Really professional and nice people. I had broken my shoulder and once the initial pain has passed, the exercise session became such a relief. They really helped my arm and shoulder.
I began PT at Fitzgerald's in April 2017. I had been on Crutches for close to 2 years due to continuous rte hip prosthetic dislocations. In October of 2016 I had major surgery to rebuild the pelvis and acetabular of my rte hip. I was unable to step down on my rte leg until February 2017. In April my quest to walk again began when I arrive for PT on 2 crutches. I was introduced to Ilya Gluskin who would be my therapist for the next several months. I knew Holly from prior PT before Melrose. I had tremendous faith in her and knew her staff would make me walk again. I also wanted to golf again and may be able to get out this coming Fall. Ilya was very patient but also very assuring that my goals would be reached as long as I was willing to put the effort into my PT program. Ilya was also training a doctoral student named Alexis Gilbert who assisted in my PT throughout my weekly program. I was very fortunate to have them working with me for these past months. They worked me hard but always encouraged me to keep on going. After approximately 3 months I really started to believe crutches would be in my past. As of writing this review I am on a cane for outdoor walks and no cane when in my home. I will be without a cane in the next couple of months and will be on the golf course this fall. Thank you Holly thank you Ilya and thank you Alex. I will always recommend Fitzgerald PT for anyone. Oh and lastly I was have problems with vertigo and doctor for Mass Eye and Ear wrote a prescription called the Epley Method and Ilya and Alex were able to cure me. Love you folks.
Simply the best. Over the past few years, I have been a patient at Fitzgerald on several occasions; I have also sent or referred many friends and family members to Holly and her crew. As a family physician, I have referred many patients to Fitzgerald. Simply put, they are the best around, as far as I'm concerned. Holly and her team are extremely thorough, really take the time necessary to understand the problem, and are incredibly knowledgeable. They are experts in pinpointing the problem, devising an appropriate treatment plan, then giving you step by step instructions for home exercises to help you improve in between visits. As devoted athletes themselves, they are especially adept at getting hard core athletes "back in the game". Their 2 facilities in Melrose and Woburn are easily accessible, and have a wide open floor plan, allowing for a great variety of assessment and treatment options. Prior to my recent hip replacement, I was barely able to walk, much less run, for 3 years. With Holly's help, I was running through the woods again just 5 months after my surgery. I don't think there's anyone better, and highly recommend Fitzgerald Physical Therapy.
